English in Autumn Term 2
To begin with in Autumn term 2, we will be evaluating and exploring calligram poetry. During the second part of the Autumn term we will evaluate and create our own historical narratives, learning through the theme of The Great Fire of London. Our final writing focus will be to inform the readers through a diary.

Religious Education
Our opening unit asks the question - Are signs and symbols important? We will explore the signs and symbols throughout the Sacrament of Baptism. After this topic, we will explore our Advent and Christmas unit, including the advent wreath.
Physical Education

Our PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Please make sure that your child arrives in school wearing their school PE kit. The children should also wear their usual school jumper or cardigan on these days. PE will take place outside and children will be able to wear hats and coats until they have warmed up for this fun and important area of school life.

A minimum of 80% quiz scores are expected.

Spellings - Spellings will be issued each Friday and then quizzes will be completed the following Friday. You can see the lists for spellings on your home learning grids.
