Year 3

Welcome to Class 3
Your class teacher is Miss Sharp.
On a Friday morning, your teacher will be Mrs Stephenson.
The TAs in our class are Mrs Kelly and Mrs Farrow.
This term in our English learning we will be covering Poetry, Stories in a familiar setting and Diary Entries.
We will continue to learn about Multiplication and Division in our Maths, then begin to focus on Money, Data and Length.
We will learn about the Journey through the Church calendar year. The children will learn about the special seasons in the Liturgical Calendar.
The children have complete their ' Early English' or 'Star Reading Assessment' and now have reading books matched to their individual comprehension level.
Please encourage your child to read everyday  and those on Accelerated Reader to quiz as we will be tracking their reading success.

On days that we have PE, children should wear their PE kit coming into school and stay in it all day. Our PE days are MONDAY and FRIDAY. PE kit is a plain white t-shirt, navy shorts and/or navy tracksuit bottoms/ jogging pants with either plimsolls or trainers. The children should wear their school jumper as normal. If you already have a St Joseph's tracksuit top,  that can be worn.
