Welcome to Class 3
Our learning journey this half term...
This term we are looking at Forces and Magnets. This topic not only allows us to focus on our understanding of how magnets work but also it gives us the option to do plenty of scientific investigations. By the end of the term, we are planning to create our own magnetic games!
In maths this term we are looking at multiplication and division. Over the year, it is important that the children continue to learn and practice their 3, 4 and 8 times tables.
In writing this term we are looking at newspaper recounts. Over the term, the class will have a chance to write their own newspaper reports. Beware, there have been sightings of magnets in the sky!
The focus for RE this term is Sacraments. During this topic, children will engage with the four parts of the mass and explore how we share and remember the sacrifice of Jesus through the Eucharist. Children will be given opportunities to consider times when they have sacrificed something or had something sacrificed for them and given thanks. In order to restore the world, the church has 7 sacraments which bring about this restoration.
