Year 3

Welcome to Class 3
Our learning journey this half term...
This term we are looking at the Stone Age to the Iron Age. This topic allows us to look at the question, 'Who first lived in Britain?' We will begin to understand what archaeologists do and piece together our own timeline of ancient history.
We will use this knowledge to help make Stone Age instructions and create different Stone Age items. .
In Maths this term we are looking at Place Value. Over the year, it is important that the children continue to learn and practice their 3, 4 and 8 times tables.

This term we are looking at Creation. This unit is designed to give some insight to how we are called to be part of God's creation. The main teaching of this calling is that we should respond. Through baptism we are called and our parents respond on our behalf. Baptism calls us to see the world through God's eyes and live out a new life with Him. By responding to his call we are protecting his creation. The multi-faith element looks at the initiation rites of the Hindu faith.
