15th July -  Moving Up Morning - all children will spend the morning with their new teacher an their new classroom today.

8th July - St Joseph's win the Rugby World Cup

event as the Webb Ellis Trophy visits Plymouth on its UK tour.

18th June- Please put suncream on your child for the run tomorrow morning

17th June- Congratulations to the Brickfields Athletics Team. Boys field events winners for the fourth year running ( get it ?) and into the finals of three of the four relay races. To top it all a medal for Seamus in the 80m sprint.

Monday 11th May Year 6 SATs week - please ensure your child is in school in plenty of time for toast and tests !

7th May - Labour win the St Joseph's Election !

Labour had 52 votes, Greens 37, Conservatives 21, UKIP 20 and Lib Dems 15.

Labour won in Classes 3 & 5; The Greens won in Class 1; Lib Dems in Class F and a tie between UKIP and Labour in Class 2.

14th April - New Newsletter out today - Staffing changes and extra curricular clubs.

13th April -  Back to school. Class two will visit Paignton Zoo on the first day back. School shirt, jumper and tie to be worn with comfy trousers and footwear.

11th April -  We are pleased to announce that the governors have appointed Mr Dyson as our new deputy headteacher. He will take up his post in September. He is presently teaching at Shakespeare Primary School as well as supporting schools throughout Plymouth in developing the teaching and learning of Maths.

17th March Happy St Patrick's Day

This Thursday ( 19th) is St Joseph's Day. We will celebrate by going to Mass at 10.00 and follow that up with our inter-house football tournament.

Friday 21st November

Congratulation to our indoor athletes who came away with bronze medals from their competition today.

Saturday 15th November The tag rugby team will play before, and at half time of Plymouth Albion's match against Worcester. Kick off is at 5pm.

Friday 7th November - Mufti Day for all children who have a library card.

Monday 3rd November - Nativity Date Change

The Class 1 & 2 Nativity Plays will now be on Wednesday 10th December at 6pm and Thursday 11th at 9.30. The Foundation Stage plays will be on Thursday 11th at 6pm and Friday 12th at 9.20.

Thank you very much to all of the families who attended Mass today and also to all of the families who donated food for the Harvest Mass. Many parishioners commented on the great generosity shown by the school community.
