Walk for Poverty - Friday 13th November 2020
As well as being a Children in Need Mufti day, each class were given time on the field for a sponsored walk. We are raising the profile of Childhood Hunger in the hope that we can help put a stop to it. Half of all monies raised will go to Children in need and half to CAFOD . We ask you to support this using one of the following ways:
Donations - a small amount to our just giving page will go a long way.
Prayer - Offering a prayer to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Asking God to give them hope and solutions at this difficult time.
Food Donations - to the'Food Collection' when you are at the supermarket
Walk to School Month
We are encouraging as many children as possible to walk to school, particularly during the month of October. Almost everybody should be able to see their address and the school on the map you can see below to see how manageable walking to school really is. Less cars from Monday please !
Plymouth CAST, our Multi Academy Trust, have decided that from Monday 28th September it will be policy that all adults in school will need to wear a face covering. Children should not wear face coverings but staff and any adults who come into the building will need to do so. Staff may wear a face covering when in the classroom with children. All will do so when in communal areas of the school. If you need to speak with a member of staff, even if outside, both of you should wear a face covering. Please respect this policy. If you have a good reason why you should be exempt from this rule please inform the school office.
We are aware that some parents are not receiving the emails that we are now sending out to classes, or the whole school. If you have not had an email about booking Parents' Evening phone calls please call the office (563185) or text or call the school mobile 07422938855.
Please look at the newsletter link on this page to see about the mufti day on November 13th.
