Parent Support Advisor

My name is Susy Putnam and I am the new Parent Support Advisor at St Joseph's. I have been in the role since November and I have already had an opportunity to talk to a number of parents. I am here to support  children and families in whatever way I can. I can offer a listening ear, help with forms and as soon as we get out of Lockdown, I am hoping to run a couple of courses  for parents (which will likely be online).
In my free time I like to visit new places, go away in my campervan and I am trying to walk the Southwest Coastal Path in my lifetime (slowly!), accompanied by my husband and my dog.
I am looking forward to getting to know you and your children, please do get in touch if you need anything.
30 Day Well-Being Challenge for Year 6 plus.
During Lockdown, it is more crucial than ever to look after our personal well-being. Well-being involves having a positive mindset, sleeping well, eating healthily and engaging in physical activity.
Jamie Peacock, the former rugby league champion player, is partnering with the Schools Advisory Service to launch a 30 Day Well-Being Challenge for children in Year 6 onwards.
Join in an online webinar on Wednesday 27th January from 12.30 to hear Jamie speak and learn more about the 30 Day Well-Being Challenge. Contact me at for more details.
