Autumn Term One

Writing

During the Autumn One term, we will learn about Explanation Texts  to inform and educate our audience about volcanoes and earthquakes. Our final writing focus will be on Narrative writing, creating a creation story. 

 

Maths

During the Autumn term, we will have our main focus of will be on- Place Value, Addition and Subtraction and Rounding.

Religious Education

We will consider the theme of Judaism, learning about how Passover. Our Christianity unit will cover Domestic Church, and how we build our relationship with God, using the Apostle Paul as our guide. 
Earthquakes and Volcanoes
Autumn Term Two
Writing
During the Autumn Two term, we will perform and create Haiku Poems. Our readers will be informed in our Non-fiction unit, creating non-chronological reports about Vikings.

Maths

During the Autumn term, we will have our main focus of will be on- Multiplication and Division by 100, 1000,  Primes, multiples, factors and common factors.

Religious Education

We will consider the theme of Judaism, learning about how Passover. Our Christianity unit will cover the Sacrament of Marriage and the importance of the events of Christmas.
